King O' the Moon's story picks up 10 years after the ending of Over the Tavern, featuring the Polish-Catholic-Pazinski clan of Buffalo, New York. It's July 1969, and Apollo 11 is making its historic journey to the moon. A time of tumultuous change in our country's history, the summer also represents a Crossroads for each member of the Pazinski family. Old family conflicts and secret longings of the heart and soul are played out against the historical magic of the moon landing. Even if you missed Over the Tavern, you won't miss a single thing when you see King o' the Moon!

A self-absorbed young Toronto actor, arrives on the small farm of two middle-aged farmers to do hands-on research for an upcoming role in a play about country life. Morgan is not too thrilled with the naive young city dweller. Angus, on the other hand, is unable to even remember that the young actor is even there due to a head injury sustained during World War II. What begins as a hilarious portrayal of rural and urban culture clash, slowly peels away layers of forgotten truths and lies, exposing hidden secrets of love and tragedy.
